I have always had a thing for old watches. There is something about the character of an old watch that defines "Old School Cool" for me.

I think it's a lot cooler to discover a beautiful old watch than to just walk into a store and buy a new one. 
It actually inspires me to see them faithfully keep time year after year.
And I love imagining the life a watch had before it came into my hands. 
It's beautiful to know that some things never go out of style.

When I was growing up, my dad took great care of his two boys but he never splurged on anything for himself.

I must have inherited that love from him.
