Rado Watch Golden Horse Automatic R33100013
The Rado Golden Horse collection caused quite a stir when it was reimagined in 2019 as it brought back to life one of the luxury watch brand’s most collectible designs. Inspired by the original 1957 Rado Golden Horse watch, this new design retains all the classic elements of its predecessors with a pair of seahorses on the dial as a symbol of good luck and a beads of rice bracelet. The seahorses sit against a stunning silver sunray finished backdrop adorned with sword-shaped hour and minute hands, a red-tipped seconds hand, a date window at 3 o’clock and the iconic Rado anchor emblem also dressed in red.
Despite taking inspiration from a historic design, there is nothing antique about this Rado Golden Horse Automatic watch. It’s slender 42mm case is engineered from polished stainless steel while it’s striped bezel comes crafted from the Swiss watch manufacturer’s legendary Ceramos, a mix of 90% high-tech ceramic and 10% metal alloy, offering lightweight wear, scratch resistance and hypoallergenic properties. Beside the bezel sits sapphire crystal glass treated with anti-reflective coating and a knurled crown water resistant to 50 metres. From the back, the Rado Golden Horse watch displays the ETA C07.611 automatic winding movement which promises 25 jewels, a frequency of 28,800 vibrations per hour and an inspiring power reserve of 80 hours.
