Antique Late Edwardian period Top Quality Longines Pocket Watch in 18k Gold, boasting an enamel dial with Arabic display and blued steel hour and minute hands including sub-seconds the watch features a crown wound and set movement which takes a full wind and runs to a beat keeping excellent time (tested over 24 hours), the watch case is engraved to the reverse with a Latin legend along with a pair of wings, the legend reads ""Dominus Protector Vitae Meae a Quo Treipdado" which translates to ""The Lord Is The the protector of my life from whom I tremble", the case is in good condition throughout and without dings or damage, similarly the dial is in excellent condition albeit in need of a clean as age related tarnishing is present, original crystal is intact to the dial, case back and inner cuvette (which features a white gold detailed pictorial indicating Grand Prixs awards won, Paris Bruxelles, Milan) open and close without issue on hinge fittings to reveal the movement which is a split three quarter plate affair, jewel set with Swiss Lever escapement and jewelled, cut and compensated weighted balance.
